The FBT J8A is a lightweight, Italian-made active speaker designed for portable sound applications and fixed installations. Featuring a bi-amplified 2-way design, it combines a custom 8″ woofer with a 1″ compression driver mounted on a 90° x 60° constant directivity horn, delivering clear and balanced audio across a wide frequency range.
With 200W RMS for the low frequencies and 50W RMS for the highs, the J8A achieves a maximum SPL of 124 dB, making it suitable for small venues, conference rooms, pubs, gyms, and personal monitoring setups. The cabinet is constructed from rugged gas-injected molded polypropylene and includes a built-in handle and 25 mm pole mount for easy transport and setup.
The onboard DSP provides dynamic equalization and protection, with two presets for acoustic flexibility. Inputs include a balanced XLR and 6.3 mm jack combo, with a volume control and status LED.
